Kristen Folding, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CFE, CHDA, AHFIChief Executive Officer

Kristen has twenty four years of experience and a proven reputation for excellence in the Medical Coding and Health Information Management field. She has provided and currently provides Subject Matter Expert services and assistance with fraud detection algorithms/analysis to Department of Justice/United States Attorney Offices, other Law Enforcement Agencies, Program Safeguard Contractors (PSCs), Zone Program Integrity Contractors (ZPIC), Medicaid Integrity Contractors (MIC), Commercial, Medicare & Medicaid Managed Care Health Plans and other CMS/State Public Aid Contractors in pursuit of program integrity. She also provides Subject Matter Expert Witness and HIM consulting services on a limited basis to health care attorneys and facilities/providers.

Kristen’s previous experience includes oversight of all operations of a national coding consulting firm in addition to coordinating and conducting audit engagements in the facility and physician based settings and managing hospital and clinic based coding departments. She currently is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Amenity Consulting, LLC. Her certification and licenses are numerous. She is a:

Rachel Demitrios, RN, MSNDirector of Decision Support

Rachel has over 18 years of health care experience primarily focused on data analytics, process improvement, medical management, and health care reimbursement and claims processing. Rachel has worked extensively with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health plans to develop and deliver high quality information, analyses, and tools required for informed decision making and effective strategic, tactical, and operational oversight.

Rachel is an advanced degree, registered nurse who has worked in a varied of clinical settings. Her career has also spanned across industries in a multitude of roles allowing her to approach each initiative or task with creativity, interpersonal integrity, and strong project management, process oriented application.

Mitzi Wilson, R.Ph., J.D.Director of Legal and Compliance

A professional with experience in a unique combination of federal government contracting, healthcare regulatory compliance, Medicare policy, and legal and pharmacy practice. Ms. Wilson is a registered pharmacist and an attorney. She is currently a director who serves as part of the Amenity Consulting executive management team. Her role includes contracts management, legal and regulatory compliance, business development, strategic planning, and risk management.

Prior to her work at Amenity, Ms. Wilson worked for a large federal government contractor and served as the Compliance Officer for several complex healthcare related contracts.

She has over 15 years of legal experience which includes compliance and regulatory experience, federal government and commercial contracting, fraud and abuse investigation and case development, state agency practice, stat legislative experience, and private litigation practice. In addition, Ms. Wilson has over 10 years of pharmacy practice and pharmacy benefit management experience.

Matthew CollierDirector of IT & Security

Matthew has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry for 14 years, with 6 of these years being primarily focused on IT security and network administration. He forged his Healthcare IT experience while leading the successful implementation of an EHR at an orthopedic practice, taking them from paper charts to a fully electronic clinic with secure remote access for the Surgeons. While he was the IT Administrator and concurrent Office Manager, this practice achieved HIPAA compliance as well as 3 straight years of Meaningful Use qualification.

David Forrester, RNDirector

David has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. His work focuses on medical management, claims processing, systems implementation, clinical data analytics, medical policy, and payer reimbursement policy.

He has worked extensively with Medicaid programs and commercial health insurance payer organizations in client management, technology implementation, and process re-engineering.

He consulted with multiple clients in the design and implementation of programs governed by the Affordable Care Act.

Recently, David worked as the Lead Data Analyst on the Probable Fraud Measurement Pilot, a CMS project focused on assessing home health care fraud in Miami-Dade County.

Racheal Reeves, RHIT, CCS, AHIMA ICD-10 AmbassadorSenior Manager

Racheal has greater than fifteen (15) years of experience in the consulting arena providing account management, auditing education, and coding services in a variety of settings from rural to large universities and teaching facilities on behalf of providers and payers. Extensive knowledge and application of coding rules and regulations in the provider and government environment including but not limited to professional fee services such as Evaluation and Management and surgical CPT, MS-DRG, CMS-DRG, APR-DRG AP-DRG, LTACH-PPS, IRF-PPS, IPF-PPS OPPS/APC and ASC methodologies. She also has six (6) years of experience as a Recovery Audit Contractor for Medicare and Medicaid billing. Racheal is an AHIMA ICD-10 Ambassador and has two (2) years of experience in ICD-10 education and training.

Joel SwanNetwork and Systems Analyst

Joel has over 15 years of experience in the technology arena, most of which were focused on healthcare data and information systems – both in application development and systems troubleshooting. He has worked extensively as a data and systems analyst in the fraud, waste and abuse section of medical facility and health professional claims.
